Leopard and Spaces

Spaces is the multiple desktop system in Leopard.

I set it up with 4 virtual environments  (PowerMac G4 dual 1.25s, w/2 gigs
of memory)
I tried running my browser in desktop 2 - that seemed fine enough.
Running iTunes in 3 worked fine.
But with xTension in 4 missed a sunset event - no scripts ran ...
I suspect it wold be ok as long as it was the "top"  desktop - if I left 4
in place when I walked away,
but if I leave the machine running in desktop 1 and xtension is in 4 ... I
dunno ...
