Thanks, that did the trick. I had to uncheck the receive only that is  
a side effect of going through the security mode.

I was a little surprised about the local sense. I will have to look  
at all the extended codes to see what they mean. Perhaps another wish  
list item is that XTension log does the decode of the bits.
