What would happen if you aliased the iTunes folder to the one on the
server, so that the INDEX is also shared.
I suspect that the last one to write it would win. Perhaps
protections can be arranged so that only one "master" user has write
access, and that user be savvy enough to never log in on more than
one machine at a time.
I may have to experiment with this, as it could solve a nasty disk
space problem on my PowerBook. I could have one copy of the music at
work on the four terabyte disk array in my office, and another at
home on the XTension server (it "only" has 40GB), and a third on the
server at church, so everywhere I play music I would have it, but not
have to carry it.
