I don't have any hangs now so no script has been created.  Maybe you  
are thinking of James' ISDN example.

I do use James' Whistleblower product for monitoring and it can  
escalate to scripts if needed. Again, I don't do any autonomous  
recoveries now. In the past when I let OS X use up all the remaining  
disk space with swap files it would have been useful but a new larger  
disk fixed the root cause. All my DSL outages are Telco ones so far  
and nothing to do locally but wait. After the fact I get lots of  
alarm emails when the link comes back up.
