Clamshell iBook OS reccomendations

I have a clamshell iBook (300 MHz G3, 160MB memory,
OS9, iTunes 2.0, no firewire) which I intend to put
into service as an XTension HA machine.  I would also
like this machine to play iTunes playlists and
internet radio stations which have been created on my
main iMac (OS 10.2).

It is not clear whether OSX is supported on this iBook
and, if it is, whether I would want to go that route
anyway.  Any expert opinions?  Any slick ways to share
iTunes from  OS 9 to OS X?
