Cell Phones and Xtension

If you want the phone primarily for receiving (free) text messages via
e-mail and you use it sparingly as a telephone, consider Virgin Mobile
pay-as-you-go phones.

Same coverage as Sprint (uses their network) and $20.00 every 3 months keeps
it alive.
